Deactivated

A person who has had sexual intercourse, but is no longer sexually "active." A person have not has sexual intercourse for at least six months to be considered "deactivated."

When filling out medical records you wonder where is the box referring to those who have not had sexual intercourse in so long the can't remember the last time. This is comparable for shoe shopping. You want to purchase the shoes, but you haven't used your credit card in so long it is now "deactivated"

To be actively distracted in such a way that it activates ideas that motivate or inspire.

While lurking in the LUCI.org Hangout, one of the Linux aficionado's, Distractivated me to the point that I now have my Youtube degree in all things IBM Model M clicker keyboards.

Love Deactivates Reason

The axiom which states that though need and usually a set of reasons activate and fuel love, to satisfy one or both lover's needs, love, that still unexplained phenomenon which makes the world go round, quickly deactivates reason.

The social scientist realized that love deactivates reason and submitted that new term to help everyone comprehend and track the seemingly mysterious but in reality, quasi-predictable steps love tends to take.
