Sprinter2:NO WAY BRO!!! DISTANCE GANG OWNS THESE STREETS!!!!
Sprinter1:But we can out sprint them
Sprinter2:FOR 3 SECONDS!!! THEN WE GET TIRED. DISTANCE GANG NEVER TIRES!!!!

Track Coach: Good work team, we have one our league. 99% of our points were scored in long distance events, thank you to Distance Gang. Also, don't forget to pay your protection fees.

Dinsdale Moment

A particular point in a conversation with someone where you find someone has ceased to regard anything you say and are quite content to have a continuous monologue with themselves. Any attempt by you to re-join the conversation is usually ignored.

A term used frequently around the South of England amongst school children and college students. Nobody is completely sure of its origin, or in fact, if it is inspired by a true person.
Jerry: Hey Tom, how long has he been talking?
Tom: Last time i checked, about half an hour.
Jerry: Do you think we should maybe ask him what the hell he's going on about?
Tom: I wouldn't bother, he won't listen, he's having a Dinsdale Moment.

Barny: Alright John, what's your opinion on the Green party policies?
Greg: Shit Barny! what are you doing? You actually want John to have a Dinsdale Moment?
Barny: Sure, it's hot in here and we can use his mouth as a fan.

The act of staying home and listening to Slipknot during a pandemic.
Man, I tell ya...all this ‘Rona out here and to make matters worse the neighbor on the other side of us has been wearing a freaky looking mask and head banging/screaming about wanting to stamp you out while he grills sausage and burgers.

Oh that’s just ol’ Douglas, he’s just doing his Patriotic duty and Psychosocial distancing.

Distance Learning

Usually the bottom rung of education and ranges from As Seen on TV correspondence classes to modern day degree mills like Walden University or the University of Phoenix. They are all happy to take your money with the full understanding that you will never actually get a worthwhile degree , diploma or certificate for your money.
I signed up for the Walden University distance learning PhD in Public Policy only to find out that no reputable government organization takes it seriously. What a waste of $4,500.
