Darkane

In the beginning of 1998 Darkane rose out of the ashes of Agretator, an ill-fated but talented band giving Watchtower (of course you remember them!) a run for the money. When Agretator became history, drummer Peter Wildoer and guitarist Christofer Malmström teamed up with fellow six stringer Klas Ideberg and bass player Jörgen Löfberg.

A true metal band.

A dark Edward Cullen (based on the character from the Twilight Saga books). It is used primarily in Twilight fan fiction to describe a bad boy version of Edward Cullen.

Darkrai

The Pitch-Black Pokemon. True to its name, it puts people and Pokemon into endless nightmares and is the color of night (I mean, look at the sky sometime when the streetlights are all on in the distance...a dark, brown-grey-black color.)
It is also f&%$ing annoying sometimes, but that's ok.

Darkrai is so awesome, I can't figure out what to tag its entry with.

Darkwatch

Halo with a vampire. The controls are exactly the same, the guns are strikingly similar, there are 10 different sensitivity levels, 4 difficulty levels: easy, normal, hard and absurdly difficult. You can hold only 2 weapons, there is a female voice in your head during single player, like Cortana. You can exploit multiplayer maps with the vampire jump to get to places you should normally get to, just like halo grenade jumping. The campaign is linear and usually very simple to figure out what to do or where to go next. You have a shield that lets you tank damage before hiding and recovering. You have a 2x zoom for your right thumbstick, or R3 for PS2. All in all however, it's a very good game in the same fashion Counterstrike is a good game.

Counterstrike is to half-life as Darkwatch is to Halo. However Darkwatch is not a mod, it's basically the same game.
