Boomerational wealth

Generational wealth inherited by children and grandchildren of Boomers that consists of entirely useless items such as vintage speakers, 8 foot long dinning tables, dusty cocktail glasses and brass pottery.
Instead of investing money into an index fund, many Boomers wasted money buying items they deemed valuable (but not valuable enough to sell) and passed those items through Boomerational wealth to their descendants.

Boomerangst

A peculiar affliction found predominantly among boomers, characterized by their unyielding compulsion to toss antiquated political memes into conversations like a well-worn boomerang. Sufferers of boomerangst regurgitate the stale rhetoric of their favorite political pundits, seeking validation from a chorus of equally unproductive peers glued to political talk shows. This condition thrives in the wild habitats of social media and family dinners, where it manifests as an acute inability to engage in non-political banter, leaving a trail of eye rolls and sighs in its wake.
At Thanksgiving dinner, Uncle Mike's boomerangst was in full swing as he launched into another unsolicited meme monologue about "how things used to be," while the rest of us traded glances and braced for the inevitable political rerun.

"That church council meeting was a total waste of time—they just sat around boomerbating for two hours about 'how things ought to be.'"
