A popular misconception is that they study fossils or dinosaurs (this is Paleantology)but this is not true. Many male archaeologists have beards, and they are considered as "weird" from most of the population.

The guy who studies, you know, places that have to do with religion, like holy sites. Mostly like spots in Jerusalem, Middle East at different parts of the world where they claim that, you know, spots of Christ and places took place, you know, events. So, he's the guy that breaks that down and tries to, you know explain things, you know, tries to, you know, locate and really do more investigations and things.

Archeologist

A Archeologist is a person who looks for ancient artifacts and tombs they analyze the artifacts to find what civilization it belonged to/ how the person died (if it's a person in a tomb of course).

They also go to different countries to find lost civilizations and artifacts. From doing all that hard work they get paid (it's their job). A famous and well-known archeologist character would be Indiana Jones.

An example would be: "John was an archeologist looking for ancient tombs in Egypt."
