Ameetaroy

A slang term for a prostitute. Named after a famous prostitute from Birmingham in the U.K. who later worked the streets of Mile End in East London.

Her fame stems from the fact that she supposedly copulated with 5 well endowed Black and Bengali males, including the rapper Wiley, who mentioned her in one of his songs, namely, "treddin on thin ice". It is unknown whether this story is fiction or truth, however the term "Ameetaroy" used for referring to a prostitute is common in East London, especially amongst the Bengali community.

Like a professor emeritus, a professor ameritus is a professor who has retired except in this case without having racked up any meritorious accomplishments such as publications, research grants, or teaching awards; a retired academic goldbrick.

Having accomplished nothing throughout his long academic career except collecting a substantial undeserved salary and enviable retirement benefits, they should've conferred the title of professor ameritus (i.e. without merit) upon him.
