Agnostic

A person who is sensible enough to admit that they have no fucking clue what is going on in the universe.

Contrary to both a Theist (someone who sits in Church thinking they have shit figured out) and an Atheist (someone who sits at Starbucks thinking they have shit figured out).
Theist: "God exists." *prays*
Atheist: "God does not exist." *sips grande cappuccino*
Agnostic: "We can't know." *continues living*

Agnostic Code

We cannot know with certainty if God or Christ exists. They COULD. Then again there COULD be a giant reptilian bird in charge of everything. Can we be CERTAIN there isn't? NO, so it's pointless to talk about it.
Faith. Love. God. Who knows. This is the Agnostic Code.

conditional agnostic

a person who practices agnosticism until his/her death is imminent; at which time he/she embraces all religions and divine beings thereof
My devout conditional agnostic uncle used to say, “God grant me the serenity to put-up with these holy rollers,” but when he was dying, he had ecclesiastic types coming and going for days.

Agnostic

Someone who finds his life meaningful enough to pursue; without admitting or dismissing a God, and tolerant enough to respect either ways as a possible answer.
Believer: The great unicorn is omnipotent
Atheist: There is no a great unicorn.
Agnostic: naah, it doesn't matter.

Agnostic

A person who believes that it can't be proven whether or not a deity exists. Really the best way to live since you don't have to deal with the arrogance that is both ends of the spectrum.
Christian (to Agnostic): Hey, do you believe in God?

Agnostic: Not exactly, since there is no actual proof that God really does exist.

Christian: You should believe in God, otherwise you will go to hell where you will burn forever.

Atheist (to Christian): Of course he's not going to hell, because hell doesn't exist just like God doesn't exist.

Christian: Of course God exists, you stupid Atheist! You'll burn in hell for saying he doesn't exist!

Atheist: No, he doesn't exist. Open your eyes, you ignorant brainwashed Christian sheep.

Christian: Shut up you liberal dumbass Atheist faggot!

Agnostic: I really wish I wasn't on this planet right now.

Agnosticism

Not knowing or admittedly not being capable of proving or disproving the existence of a superior being or beings.

Either used to show a person as "sitting on the fence" or somebody who is certain that the existence of a supernatural being can't be proven or disproven.

Agnosticism is merely the "ism" for "Agnostic".
Agnostic: In THIS universe everything appears to have a cause. What if something outside of this universe, where the same boundaries don't apply, happened to have an input to the development of ours, perhaps even being as minute as starting a large explosion? Could we call this influence "God" or could we call it Science? Can we even prove anything like this happened? It appears my Agnosticism has deleted the boundaries for common religious arguing.

Atheist: *brain broke*

agnostic

An agnostic is a person who believes that the existence of a greater power, such as a god, cannot be proven or disproved; therefore an agnostic wallows in the complexity of the existence of higher beings.

Agnostics on religion (Christianity, Islam, Buddhists, etc): Religious zealots are often viewed as ignorant by agnostics’ because of their blind following of a supreme being which may or may not exist. Agnostics will often question the existence of a supreme power because a lot of modern religious beliefs have no basis in modern logic; therefore blind following of popular religions is viewed as an easy out for people who chose not to think for themselves.

Agnostics on atheism: On the other end of the spectrum, unlike atheists, an agnostic uses a more scientific approach to their belief system. An agnostic knows that just because there is no physical proof of the existence of a higher being, it dose not automatically mean that one does not exist. An agnostic views an atheist on the same plane as a religious zealot; often because the belief that human beings are the pinnacle of intelligence and there are few things that we do not or have the potential to understand.

The realization of knowing that “we cannot know everything” is the backbone of the agnostic belief.
Christian Zealot: God loves you and everyone. He will save you
Agnostic: Prove it.

Athiest: There is no way that a god can exist.
Agnostic: Prove it.
