Work ethic

A concept typically related to Australians, and the occasional New Zealander living in Australia and - on the whole - have become Australian until a lucky win in the rugby reveals their true black colours. Most notable Kiwi living in Australia and displaying 'work ethic' is Peter Bramwell.
Peter has a fantastic work ethic. Each day in his new job, Peter has things to do, places to go, people to see. He is truly the mature and dignified professional.

Workethic

What it takes to be in the American heavy metal band Lamb of God.

At the beginning of Lamb of God's dvd "Walk With Me In Hell", bassist John Campbell is standing in a dressing room reading the words of "inspiration" lining the walls and he comes to "Workethic". The original creators meant to say "Work Ethic" but messed it up, clearly. Campbell decides to poke fun at this and says it as one word.
person 1: You have a lot of workethic.

person 2: Don't you mean "Work Ethic?"

person 1: nope...workethic.
