a term meaning till the end of an era. Often implied to mean forever but in most cases means until something comes along to mess things up.

To keep something going as long as you possibly can, the way you would drive a car until the wheels off.
"You gotta meet this girl I've been seeing. I'm going to roll with this one till the wheels fall off"

A phrase used to indicate that a romantic or sexual relationship has ended, or is, as when the wheels do fall off a wagon, kaput. Sometimes heard as "wheels fall off the wagon" or "wheels falling off the wagon"

When an employee is stressed out and pushed to the breaking point and starts screaming loudly and uncontrollably, it is said their hamster flew off the exercise wheel such as is found in a hamster's cage. Frequently happens to employees at "the new AT&T"
