Related to the word troll.

A trolldentity is the username one uses for posting intentionally inflammatory or even misleading comments for the sake of social observation. Sometimes, one may even make an entire persona out of it complete with an intentionally annoying username and/or misspelled quote as a forum signature.

One gains great insight into people's biases and dualities on various topics when posting painstakingly crafted comments with their trolldentity.

Owen recently made two trolldentities so he could simultaneously pretend to be a conservative bible-thumper and a liberal atheist to understand both sides of the issues.

John posed as a homosexual and homeless clown online with his trolldentity to find out the scary truth about the streets of late night Los Angeles.

Trolldown

A competition between at least two persons in which the object of the competition is to see who can troll their competition more. The side that has trolled the most wins the Trolldown. To win you need to troll. A Trolldown can be very annoying for many, and they usually happen only on the Internet, but they can happen in the Real World too. A Trolldown can be friendly or violent, but they are usually friendly.
