Bob: Jean... there's something I need to tell you.
Jean: What cooking good looking?
Bob: I think I'm straight.
Jean: *fiddles with hair* Are you cereal?
Bob: I've been thinking about it for a while. Can we still be friends?
Jean: Of course, I'll try to not be turned on anymore by you.

Get the The A's of the Gays mug.Rudie and the Gays was a popular non-metal tv show in the late 1980s. It is considered by everyone in the world to be the best homosexual show ever written. Its all-star cast included hosts Ryan Seacrest and Brian Dunkleman who later went on to host American Idol. The part of Smoof Poofleson was played by future American Idol loser and Cumming, Georgia resident RJ Helton. The show featured Jerry Seinfeld as its sole writer after the show Seinfeld ended. The only known actor on the show was Rain Wilson who got his start there before leaving the show to join the cast of the American version of The Office. Paula Abdul can be seen at age 14 in five episodes in a special guest role while fellow Idol judge Randy Jackson was the musical guest on 23 episodes during the show's 13 season run. Despite its vast success and humor which featured countless references to Simon Cowell, the show abruptly ended after season 13's season finale when Ryan and Brian shared an extremely romantic, yet slightly homosexual, kiss on-air.
