Tasker

A term USNA Midshipman invented to make trivial tasks they perform seem like monumental endeavors which only the strongest and smartest officer candidate can perform.

MIDN ENS: Hey man, you coming out to Stan and Joes tonight?
MIDN LTJG: Nah, I gotta assign a lot of taskers tonight.
MIDN ENS: GMT/NKO tours?
MIDN LTJG: Nah, many members of the company haven't done the weekend list.

Let me consult my machine of knowledge and see how many taskers I have due before TAPs.

Uni-tasker

An object with one function, ideally, designed to be extremely good at what it does. A waffle iron, for example, can only be used to make waffles, but it tends to make waffles extremely effectively, justifying its existence as a uni-tasker. Objects as varied as saddles to soap dishes or rice cookers can be considered uni-taskers.

The only uni-tasker allowed in your kitchen is a fire extinguisher.

The Tasker

- when you just don't feel like working
- your tent needs to dry
- or that unfortunate event when your girlfriends car breaks down and a sick day is warranted to repair it
- a Tasker has been known to be taken when a clumsy moment has lead to you stumbling down stairs or falling out of a shower
- or sometimes you just want to leave work early

NOTE: there are unlimited Taskers at hand
NOTE: there has been an addition of an atomic tasker where you take the first day back from leave as a "sick day"

night tasker

Person or Persons hired to perform tasks for others, specifically either at night or during the day for people whose lives are most active at night. Paid Personal Fixer, Runner, Chef, Assistant.

I have a new job as a personal night tasker, LOL picking up my bosses dry cleaning and dropping off the dirty ones. She sleeps all day, but I make sure she is Haute every night.
