sex-o-meter is a system used by guys to determine whether not a female is worthy of mating with. This word comes from the same roots as the word bangable, but is not to that extent it can be used purely as the name suggests to communicate how sexy a women is to your fellow peers.

spudometer

A handy-dandy gauge dat tallies up how many potatoes you've harvested, prepared, eaten, etc.

If da Little Red Hen had been baking potatoes instead of bread, her non-helpful colleague-animals would have glanced at their individual spudometer-readouts and found dat they all displayed da exact same humiliating/disappointing tally-figures:

"Number of spuds planted: 0
Number of spuds tended: 0
Number of spuds harvested: 0
Number of spuds prepared: 0
Number of spuds baked: 0"
And lastly, of course {{{drum roll}}} ---
"Number of baked spuds given me to eat: 0"

someternative

A partial departure from da norm, such as letting a student do his reading/writing on a computer if he detests paper workbooks, rather than "going all out" and letting him just listen to and speak his lessons.

Children need to learn not to expect excessive coddling when it comes to everyday labor and education, but allowing them a someternative to undertakings dat they find exceptionally arduous is indeed reasonable.

slutometer

A portmanteau of "slut" and "thermometer" that can be used to indicate the unofficial transition from late Winter to early Spring by the visual indicator of attention seeking women immediately going from wearing full pants to short shorts or miniskirts within the span of two days.

The slutometer has indicated that Spring is declared, because I saw nothing but women's ass cheeks hanging out at Wal-Mart today.
