Shanaban

A portmanteau of NHL chief player disciplinarian Brendan Shanahan and his subsequent enforcement of league rules.

A player is Shanabanned following an on-ice incident which is often accompanied by a video explanation of factors contributing to a suspension.

Shanaban's have received league wide support in lieu of increasing concussions and blindside hits as well as multiple criticisms for lack of consistency.

Five players were Shanabanned in the first week of the 2011-2012 preseason

Name given to New Zealand on an Australian TV advertisement parodying American advertising creatives (or moreso, American obliviousness about anything outside their country - such as the name of NZ!! Youtube it!!

Southern African tribe, allegedly having extraordinarily large penises.
Thus it is also used colloquially to describe a man with a very large penis.
