a person who gives up all material things and becomes spiritually devoted to himself. Many sadhu's can be found in India. Sadhu is also a unique name that is uncommon for many parts of the world, i.e. America.

1) - When I went to India last summer, I stayed with a tribe of sadhu's to see their way of life.

Sadhguru

Jaggi Vasudev, or commonly called Sadhguru is an Indian mystic and yogi who founded Isha Foundation, a not for profit organization which offers yoga programs all over the world. He is also an author, spiritual master, motivational speaker and philanhropist. As a child he became fascinated by nature and would often escape to the jungle near his home and spend hours, even days there. A spiritual experience at 25 made him rethink his life's purpose and eventually realized that his calling was to become a yoga teacher.

Isha Foundation is a non-profit, spiritual organization founded in 1992 by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev. It is based at the Isha Yoga Center near Coimbatore, India. The foundation offers yoga programs under the name of Isha Yoga. It has over 5 million volunteers.

Sadhanas make great friends and are very dependable, they are also brutally honest
they will stick by your side through thick and thin, and they will always be there when you need them.
They often have really pretty eyes, and an amazing fashion sense.
They are creative, fun and loyal. and love chips and greys anatomy

Sadhi

Saturn Driving Hippies. Pronounced sa-dee. Hippie type people with dredlocks, wearing Che t-shirts. They sit in front of city hall in a drum circle, who then turn around and go home to their suburban home in a Saturn that their parents bought. These people tend to congretate and fight for a cause but when asked individually what their cause is, they are speechless or come up with some bullshit rhetoric that you can find on wikipedia. Sadhis tend to live in suburban neighborhoods that is within an hour of a metropolitan city. Boulder is a popular place for Sadhis to live.

The sadhis at the peace rally did their best to hide their Hollister sweatshirts.
