Get the sysbm mug.SYSBM stands for “Save Yourself Black Men,” and it refers to the group of black men in America who complain that they are no longer able to compete with, or obtain, a black woman because black women have economically, educationally, and emotionally left black men in the 1900’s with systemic and marital oppression. This phrase is to encourage other black men to date outside of their race, or move to another country, to obtain a woman who will settle for their low income, lack of accountability, and their mental, physical, and emotional abuse. This term is often used to validate the feelings and experiences of black men who lack the means of provision and protection for the women in their community.
