When the fate of something or someone has been determined and they are being watched. The predator's main thought is "SOON."

The origin of this phrase is in an under-appreciated lolcat, where an evil-looking cat is watching a chihuahua, with the only caption being SOON.

When pronounced, it helps to add suspense and drama by saying "SOON." in a low voice employed by that movie advertising dude.

Usually used by artists/bands to tease their fans when they were asked about something. Either means 'in about 3 days' or '6 months.' For example, when asked about a music video, tour, and announcement release, these artists tend to only know this word.

A common word said by executives from Polyphony Digital, the developer behind the highly successful Gran Turismo series of video games when asked about a release date of their next game. Series creator Kazunori Yamauchi, creator of the series often says the word when asked for a release date. The word, 'soon' usually means coming within a small time-frame but it is the total opposite when said by Polyphony Digital and Kazunori Yamauchi.

A word Pentatonix uses to tease people about their upcoming announcements, albums and activities so people get all frustrated and excited. Does not actually mean soon. They will tease you with soon so bad that you will cringe at seeing the word in your life. Pentaholics have banned and rejected this word, so it is suggested not to use it around them.
