From the dutch word 'broekie', meaning 'little pants' or 'short pants'.

The rookie started the day with cleaning all the guns while his more experienced collegues went out to hunt bad guys.

The title given to someone that portrays himself as an insecure and often times confused individual. The only way he can raise from the rank of rookie is to prove him self successfull to his superiors (HLSCC NIGGAZ)until then he'll always be addressed as "ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKIE" whenever greeted
