pumelo

A large fruit of the genus Citrus
(Citrus Grandis, to be exact).
Pumelos are sacred to the Cult of
the Deekoo, and used in several
of their unspeakable rites.

Pumelos are reminiscent of grapefruits
in flavour, but sweeter, larger, and
with thicker rinds. Some pumelos are
green, others yellow. Rumour has it
that other colours of pumelo exist.
The pumelo is the fruit of the Tree of
Knowledge in the Bible (see Jack Chick's
publication, "El verdadero camino",
available in English translation from
deekoo.net shortly), and can be found
near the Mountain.

Silver Plume

Silver Plume, Colorado is home to about 200 drunk off their ass or high off their mine tailings residents who all love their little town. Half the residents have their licenses taken away due to DUI and the other half can't afford a car. There is only about 200' of roadway that is paved, everything else is shithole of dirt roads and old ziplock bags of pot.

Person 1: "I can't seem to get drunk enough here in Florida at sea level."

Person 2: "Come to Silver Plume!"

Pume

To travel wicked fast, usually in the downhill direction. It is all about sweet flow. Some report the sensation of floating. Some experience symptoms of permagrin. Experienced pumers describe pumin' as a state of mind, absent of thought. Often they describe they find themselves pumin' without realizing it at first. It just happens.

Pronounced like the sound a 10 year old boy makes when shooting invisible lasers. "Pyume pyume!".

My buddy pumed me to the top of the mountain in her truck, then I pumed down some sweet singletrack. I was so in the zone that there was only the pume. Later on we met up for a surf and went pumin' down some tasty waves. It's more fun with fellow pumers.

paumee

French expression, mainly from Quebec (paumée, in French). A tween or a teen that's indecisive, always confused, unable to be firm, logical or rational. They start to date someone, don't call back, apologize 15 days later, then say to a close friend how nobody can understand them, then go out with friends, start dating someone else, then call back the guy the next day telling him that they're sorry and already taken , then they call the first guy and tell him that it's over, then hang up and realize that's they're confused, then they call the second guy to apologize and they tell him that he's cute, then miss the first guy who got dumped, etc. You see the pattern. The paumées will never go anywhere in life. Also characterized by low grades at school, poor coping skills, poor communication skills, poor social skills except for 2 or 3 persons they know well. You can easily recognize a paumee by talking with them for at least 15 minutes. They can't hide the fact that they're paumées for no more than that. Afterwards, the confusion will come out, nothing will make sense. At this point, you better run.

I went out with a paumee yesterday, she's all confused, this bitch.
