A portmanteau of pretty and beautiful; used to describe someone so attractive and amazingly good-looking, to the point that everytime you see her (or him), your heart feels so warm as if it's melting while everything else in this world gets blurry. You just can't stop staring at this person and and are constantly astonished by how gorgeous she (or he) looks

A cleverly awkward combination of "pretty", "hot" and "beautiful". No person you'll speak to will ever understand this without explanation, so be prepared for your dorky compliment to require a follow up paragraph.

A: "Hey, I think you're quite protiful. That's.. pretty, hot, and beautiful rolled all into one, because in my haste to make small talk and come across as smooth I thought it'd be better to combine the three instead of just blindly selecting one to use."

Understood to be more beautiful than plain "pretty," but not gorgeous enough to gain the "beautiful" title. Cutsy way of saying "kinda hott."

Also can be used in describing objects, meaning that an object is very colorful and random.

"Oh my god, Kaitlin, he would never go out with me. He likes her. I mean, shes just so prettiful, and I'm just so...not!"

"Ooh, I love your shirt, it's very prettiful!
