Peeternity

When you are urinating and you start to think that it will never stop.

When I woke up this morning and used the restroom, it felt like I would be in there for peeternity.

Even though I was late for work, I was in the bathroom and it seemed like peeternity.

the dance of eternity

Another amazing entry by the progressive band Dream Theater. Truly inmpressive, this song captures some of the best riffs of the instuments used (guitar, bass, drums and keyboards). Progressive rock haters would probably get a headache from this song but you have to admire the talent that is poured out into this amazing 6 minute song. The ragtime keyboard solo is also very fullfilling!

paternity test

Test taken to prove that a man is either the father or not the father of a child. ( see Maury show)

Stephanie tried to refuse to take the paternity test proving he wasn't the father because she didn't want the other guy to find out he wasn't the father either.

Measurable Eternity

A known period of time that isn't really that long but still seems to take forever.

Examples:

The last day of school before summer vacation begins.

The last 10 minutes of work before a 3 day weekend.

Waiting through all the ads and trailers before the movie you went to see starts.

Any business meeting.

Our weekly staff meeting at work was another measurable eternity. With every minute that passed I could feel whole geological epochs passing.

Paternity Pants

Apparently normal casual or dress pants for men with a stretch waistband to accommodate large bellies. Suitable for fathers who gain sympathy weight during wives' pregnancies.

Man, that was a massive Thanksgiving dinner. I'm glad I wore my paternity pants.
