PGA clap

An unenthused clap that is used generally at boring events such as banquets, school assemblies, and church events. Not to mention at a golf match.

Yeah I had to listen to a boring song at a band concert, but I gave the PGA clap just to be polite.

The maturity-rating for "un-bleeped" camera-footage of adults whacking small dimpled white balls around over a grassy fairway.

It is downright appalling how so many seemingly-sensible and dignified grownups in neat elegant business-attire behave --- or rather, MISbehave --- the moment you put a golf club in their hands... it's no wonder that "raw" TV-coverage of said games often carries a PGA-13 rating!
