In the book and musical, she rules all of Munchkinland after her father dies. Her nickname is Nessa. Her age changes in the musical and in the book. In both of these, she goes to a college in OZ called Shiz University with her sister but in the book she is only 15 as opposed to 18 or 19 in the musical.
