Neanderthal November

A celebration of manliness and our natural state in which for the entire month of november, men will grow their beards regardless of age or ability to grow a full beard. Women can participate by not shaving their legs, but this is not required of them.

Guy#1: Hey man, what's up with the beard?
Guy#2: It's neanderthal november, you're not allowed to shave until December 1st or later.
Guy#2: I can't participate, my beard grows really patchy.
Guy#1: No worries, Neanderthal November isn't about beards, it's about being as manly as you can be.
Guy#2: *Throws razor in the garbage*

A derogatory term used to reference an uncivilized, unintelligent , and/or uncouth male. Similar to a chauvinistic pig, with the added attraction and charm of being lacking in all social graces.

I went out on a date w/ a guy who proceeded to tell me I was fat and stupid, what a neanderthal fuckwit. He then proceeded to call me a whales penis, ie dork.

Primitive humans which lived throughout much of Europe, but particulary in France, and Germany. The term "Neanderthal," derives from the Neanderthal Valley in Germany, where the first fossils were found. Anatomically, they differed from their chief competitors, Cro-Magnon man in that they tended to be more squat, with thicker bones, and brow ridges. They existed through hunter-gathering activities, as did the Cro-Magnon, but seem to have been less technologically innovative, a quality which may have contributed to their ultimate demise.

How many Neanderthals died in encounters with wooly mammoths is anyone's guess.
