Get the Kürstein mug.Kürşat (hero) is a Turkish male name based on a fictional character. He is the idealized character of a real person whose name was given as Jiesheshuai (or Chie shih shuai) in the 7th-century Chinese chronicles.
In old Turkish, kür means "arrow" or "ambitious" Şad (shad) was the title of a clan leader of the royal blood. Şads were assistants of the khagan (emperor) or yabgu(ruler of the west portion of the empire) Thus Kür-şat (or Kür-şad) was a compound name. It was popularized by Turkish author Nihal Atsız. Atsız told about the Jiesheshuai event and the name Kürşat to his colleague (later opponent) Sabahattin Ali who in 1936 wrote a play named Esirler (Captives) based on Jiesheshuai. But it was not an epic play and Kürşat was portrayed as a desperate lover. Nihal Atsız criticized the play and decided to use the name in one of his novels. Kürşat was mentioned in his 1946 epic novel named Bozkurtların Ölümü (The death of Grey Wolves). In Turkish mythology The wolfsymbolizes honor and is also considered the mother of most Turkish peoples In the novel, the death of the grey wolves refers to the collapse of Eastern Turkish khaganate. The first section of the novel refers to 621 events when Turks were independent. Second section is about the collapse of the khaganate and the last section is about the Jiesheshuai event. The main difference from the historic event is that the author Nihal Atsız has named the hero Kürşat instead of Jiesheshuai. The name was further popularized when Niyazi Yıldırım Gençosmanoğlu wrote a poem based on the novel.

Get the Kursat mug.Kurosaki Ichigo is the protagonist in the anime series 'Bleach' by Kubo Tite who is also known for the short lived series called 'Zombie Powder'.
Kurosaki Ichigo is fifteen years old with brown eyes and was once bullied for his strange orange hair, which he claims is natural. He has the unexplainable ability to see and interact with ghosts and spirits. This in turn leads to a chain of events which leads him into becoming a 'Shinigami' or 'Soul Reaper' and allows the story line of 'Bleach' to grow.
The interest in Ichigo stems from the fact he has an abnormally high spiritual energy which he cannot seem to supress, it is such a strong energy for a mortal that it is a reason he manages to get into places such as 'Soul Society' the central hub of the spirit world.
He wields a blade or 'Zanpaku-to' called 'Zangetsu', a physical manifestation of his spiritual energy which he can use to destroy the core antagonists in the story line, the 'Hollows'.

Get the Kurosaki Ichigo mug.The continuation of the Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) anime. Featuring a couple of new characters, namely Alois Trancy and his demon butler, Claude, its basically this: Hordes of fanservice (especially the shota-esque CielxSebastian kind). If you don't like being in Fanservice Central, you probably won't like Kuroshitsuji II. But if you're a raving fangirl, get something soft to bite on so you can muffle your squeals of joy.
Summary of story: Alois Trancy, a slightly mad, blonde bombshell with a trouble past similar to Ciel Phantomhive's has made a Contract with the Spider Demon Claude. Trancy's wish? To make Sebastian suffer and to obtain Ciel Phantomhive for his own.
With messed up twists and turns such as Ciel losing his memory, Sebastian's (for better or worse) changes in behavior, and (for me) a sort of Wallbanger ending, its definitely an either love it or hate it kinda thing. But give it a shot anyway.
