The word "jooter" has a troubling history that is rooted in racism and prejudice. It is a
derogatory term that has been used to demean and belittle people of color, particularly
those of Asian descent.
The origins of the word "jooter" are unclear, but it is believed to have originated in the
United States in the early 20th century as a slur against Chinese immigrants. It was often
used to mock and ridicule Chinese Americans, and it carried with it a strong sense of
prejudice and hatred.
