Jpop purist are fan that think jpop should be in certain style and music. Jpop purist will reject all element of kpop in jpop music scene and think they are not deserve the fame in jpop music industry. While japanese ppl like Kpop and Kpop itself is very popular in japan. Most of jpop purist are international fan that doesnt know what is popular in japan and what japanese like. They insist of jpop should stick to traditional way and retain distinct jpop music style refusing to evolve to other music style. Music cross border, nation and culture now. This thing cant be stop. Just like the flow of time.

Pop music from Japan, many cute Japanese girls are Jpop 'idols'.
Most kids who listen to Jpop are the same kids who get excited when they see a Japanese person, or use the word "Hai!!! or "Arigato!" and use Japanese names as screen names.

Some Jpop is pretty good.. you should check out Mika Nakishima.
