To get the shaft. On Wednesday, June 2nd 2010, Detroit Pitcher Galarraga had a perfect game in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs. A ball was hit to the first basemen, and he flipped it to Galarraga, the runner was clearly out, but umpire Jim Joyce called him safe.

A-"Dude, so I was with this girl last night, and she said she wanted to be with me forever, and I woke up this morning, and she was gone"

Name given to the recipient of a thrown dildo to the face. The term was coined after New Zealand politician Steven Joyce was hit in the face with a pink dildo hurled by a protestor during an interview in early 2016.

Often used in conjunction with the phrase "That's for raping our sovereignty!"

Tom: That's a nasty bruise on your face, dick.
Dick: Yeah, I got Joyced by my girlfriend after an argument.
Harry: You must have raped her sovereignty.

To have your holiday Qantas - The Spirit of Australia in the post-covid era. The term was coined after Alan Joyce, the CEO of the Airline who is personally responsible for ruining people's holidays.

Can also be used as a homophobic slur.

EX 1: My holiday was Joyced. The lines were long, no one answering the phones, the planes were late and the staff were grumpy.

EX 2: I got Joyced really hard by Alan last night. He stuck it in my asshole.
