Armand Hirsch

A nickname for God, having derived in Miami. Its origins are most likely from Saint Amand, a Roman Catholic saint from France (c. 584-675). "Armand Hirsch" is frequently described as an arranger of all things. Although the term still enjoys a loyal, strict constructionist following, some members of the younger generation have chosen to elevate Hirsch to the status of an imaginary joke hero, similar to Chuck Norris. "Armand Hirsch" is frequently substituted for Chuck Norris within such jokes.

To consume a large amount of food in a relatively short span of time. Additional hallmarks of hirsching include: (1) consumption of particularly unhealthy foods e.g., pizza; (2) consuming (unhealthy) food in a relatively discreet manner; and yet also (3) loudly and repeatedly remarking to no one in particular about your current diet, dissatisfaction with your current weight, and your plans for losing weight—plans that do not include the food presently being hirsched.

"Dang yo, my 'date' with Ali didn't go so well last night. After we left the bar, I thought I was gonna seal the deal, but instead she certifiably HIRSCHED a whole pizza by herself and proceeded to tell me all about the new diet she had just started!
