Hatsune Miku

A leader of a Japanese music trend, Hatsune Miku is a vocaloid. A vocaloid is like a musical instrument in a way, where you can create a vocal track for a song. This instrument is given a persona as the vocaloid software simulates a voice. Hatsune Miku is the first vocaloid in the vocaloid 2 range, so her voice is not as smooth as some later vocaloids. Fans of Miku make songs and music videos, but few are released officially outside of Japan.

Hatsune Miku is pictured as a 16 year old girl with blue anime eyes and long blue hair split into two long (reaching her knees long!) ponytails. She always has headphones on, and her usual outfit resembles a school uniform. Roughly translated, her name means 'first sound of the future'

Her more popular songs include 'love is war', 'world is mine' and 'po pi po'. She is also pictured with leeks alot as they were included in her 'po pi po' video, and have been associated with her since. She has previously performed live as a hologram with a live band.

Hatputs

Another term used for the word "beast" that is completely made-up and used only because of the overuse of "beast" itself to describe football players.

1: That guy's a hatputs!
2: A hatputs?
1: Yeah, you know, he's awesome!
2: Oh, you mean he's a beast?
1: I hate everything about who you are and what you decide to be in life.
