in a country town, at the only senior high school for abour 2 hours, the place where kids who live to far away for buses to reach stay. Typically considered skanks, dress in very short, tight clothing. They can be called lesbians as they share small, open spaces without adults for an entire year. Never respected, or appreciated. Slightly unintelligent and usually do not pull the guys.

"look at that hostel, she is such a slut - i heard she got rejected by 6 guys on the same night!!"

Accommodation for 'real travellers.' A place where adventurous souls unite, to discuss how to avoid going back to their homelands. Hostels differ from hotels in that they cater for more fun, less pretentious peeps. The 'S' in hostel stands for sociable or sexy, which accurately describes the type of travellers who stay there.

Dull person: "I'd never stay in a hostel."
Real traveller: "You're missing out."
Dull person: "On what exactly?"
Real traveller: "The people. The vibe. The energy. The savings. The stories. The events. The friendships. The memories. The adventures." etc. etc.

Hostel

Hostels are known to offer way more adventure for your money. Unlike hotels, they provide shared social spaces (dorms, common-rooms and kitchens) where you will unexpectedly become best friends with other global adventure-seekers (usually whilst chatting about where they have been, or what they are eating.) Hostels regularly provide organised events and activities. The types of fun things that dull hotel patrons would most likely “tut” at. These include happy hours and Beer Pong, an internationally recognised hostel sport, with games held every 10 minutes.

I went solo backpacking for a few months and stayed in hostels. I lost a few socks, but I gained 3267 new friends.
