googleator

A Googleator is a tool used to search for something on the internet. This is a generic term typically used when asking someone for a device to search (without having to ask for a "smart phone" or "tablet" or "laptop" or whatever). It simplifies the question without having to worry about what type of device they have.

"Hey Wendy, do you have your Googleator because I am trying to settle an argument and need to search the internet".

A person who in arguments calls upon obscure information they found on google.com to appear more knowledgable than they are. Rampant on Usenet and most discussion boards.

Noted googlectual Tom Shelly often pasted massive articles he'd never actually read.

Just fucking Google it

This phrase is an exasperated attempt at getting clueless incompetent swines to find out something for themselves instead of pissing off everyone with mindless person-to-person technical queries over IM/IRC.

Usually a last resort used by the first party when the second party's incessant nagging has become tedious and annoying to the point of high blood pressure.

1: hey do u kno how 2 fnd a kewl mp3 converta?
2: JUST FUCKING GOOGLE IT.

verb - to use an internet search engine to research a topic, especially with the intent of getting something done quickly and easily. Characterized by using the first five results, despite credits or presence of accurate information.

noun - the website, page, or entry from which the information was taken.

noun - slang term for the person one gets to research for them

Yo man, I totally just googlebitched that history project.

Andy used Wikipedia as his googlebitch for a report on Gregorian Chant.
