Get the That's a good story, tell it again mug. When a story is presented as heartwarming but ends up illustrating a societal failure. An example of this would be a very elderly cashier getting an award for not missing a day of work in decades, while the US allows his employer to not give paid time off and does not pay a living wage.
Person 1: Did you see that a school got a donation to finally have heating?
Person 2: Considering we are the largest economy in the world, that’s some fail good story material there.

Get the fail good story mug.The imaginary receptacle created by the outstretched (and circular fashioned) arms of your less-than-amused friends when you tell a "cool/funny/exciting" story that is honestly less thrilling than the lint in your navel at this very moment.
The catch is that when you started telling the story, you likely thought it was hilarious, or even just chuckle-worthy to say the least...until one of your friends makes a "basket" with their arms, and well you may as well just shut up at that point. Inevitably, they're all gonna say "ha. ha. good one, PUT IT IN THE GOOD STORY BIN!" ugh.

Get the The Good Story Bin mug.a story that isnt too long or too short and ends up in a sexual encounter of an impossible but funny way. also has a short and often shitty ending that dosent relate to the story at all.
alright so this one time ian was in vermont and he was done snowboarding for the day so he headed home. on his way home he saw a moose and a naked chick with huge boobs and a great body riding on his back. she then asked ian if he wanted to fuck this moose with her. he politly declined but put out the option of fuckin him, she took the bait. once comfortable and naked ian proceded to fingering the mysterious woman. she wasnt acknoledging his fingers were even inside of her so he began to use his fist. when she responded witha moan of pleasure ian got excited and moved in further.but then she started bleeding. "stop fucking bleeding on my fucking arm you dumb bitch" ian exclaimed! now he was elbow deep in the slut and she was screaming and still bleeding for more. ian obliged and went shoulder deep therefore shouldering her. his outstreched fingers were protruding from her mouth when he was all the way in and she was loving every second. untill she started to choke. since she could not stop bleeding ian soo became grossed out and bored so ian popped her head off and she bled to death . now thats a good story.

Get the a good story mug.Since humans have a way of telling stories that makes another group the bad guys, most stories are too good to be true stories, whether they are stories you hear often about triumphant European groups, or stories about the triumph of other groups than Europeans.
If the (American) Indians had invaded and took over Europe, the stories of the triumph of their human spirit would sound like bullshit to Europeans because they would know it was the way the Indians were telling history. The Indians would also know the dehumanized European stories of survival and oppression in the Indian's new world were bullshit too, since any group of humans can tell a too good to be true story, making another group sound like the most inhuman pieces of shit that ever lived, the bible has plenty of them. The reality is each and every group is as human and as inhuman as the next, there is no more or less human group, not the oppressor, not the oppressed. There are no innocent, pure humans, innocent applies only to animals. Groups of oppressed people have also raped, tortured, and killed each other, and members of other groups, even if plenty of bad shit happened to them too, no matter how good a movie/book makes their group or their story look. If an American Indian or an Aboriginie tells a story, their audience shouldn't not question the full story because it was told by a rare living member of an Indian or Aboriginie group because their group is few in numbers, any more than they shouldn't not question a story told by an Anglo-Saxon.
