A test a man gives a woman on the first date by attempting to sleep with her. If he is successful she has failed the test and is too promiscuous to be considered girlfriend material.

James had a great time with Sarah on their date. However after they went back to her place and he gave her the first date test and she failed by allowing him to sleep with her he decided not to call her again.

When you're on a first date and trying to present your best self, but the pizza you just ate isn't sitting well with you and you need to let out the beast within. So you subtly lean to the right and silently let out your discomfort, only to immediately sit on it to avoid detection.

Coined by comedian Christopher Titus, first date arm occurs when a man is taking a girl on a first date. While his arm is on the armrest he will flex it as hard as he can. That way, just in case she brushes up against him, she will think "Oh my god, he's spun steel". The resulting tired arm is called, first date arm.

"It was good man, but I got first date arm really bad."

"Sorry to hear it bro."

1. 90 minutes maximum
2. Show up on time, but no earlier than 15 minutes.

3. Dress how you usually dress. Don’t wear a suit unless you’re coming from a meeting.
4. Have cash in your wallet. Not because you need it. Just trust me.
5. If you can’t afford to have cash in your wallet, you can’t afford a girlfriend.
6. Ripped jeans don’t look good
7. Have a reason to leave after 90 minutes. Make some shit up if you need to.

8. Don’t say you like something just because she does. If you despise it, don’t pretend to play along.

9. Bring a condom. You never know.

10. Just in case, have a Backup Call

Beyond the obvious literal meaning of the phrase related to anal sex, can be used to describe any situation where one party attempts to get something that would not necessarily be considered permanently off-limits, but would be considered completely inappropriate and out of bounds to request from a first meeting with another party. Especially fun when used in a business reporting context.

Businessman A: Wow you sure did get a lot of extra info about that deal proposal from your meeting at Company X, you must have a great rapport with them. Did you happen to ask them about the results of that other super-secret deal they did with Company Z?
