Drop Anchor

To place one foot on the floor while drunk in bed. This is usually done when someone is so incredibly drunk that the room is spinning violently.

Dropping anchor helps stop the spins and ensures a good nights sleep for the drunkard.

Dude, I was so drunk last night I had to drop anchor in bed.
