Either literally a financial amount or figuratively towards an artistic (or other) genre that an individual has made during their lifetime. Also used sarcastically.

Campaign contribution

A campaign contribution is simply a bribe.

We contributed to the President's campaign by sending him loads of $cash. Thus, we gave him a campaign contribution.

Contribate

Verb: The act of thinking about masterbating.

Contribater; noun, a person who often thinks about masterbating.

Contribated, contribation, contribates, contribating.

I think Jimmy is contribating while he is at work.

Jimmy is such a contribater.

Defined-contribution plans

Defined-contribution (DC) retirement plans allow employees to invest pre-tax dollars in the capital markets where they can grow tax-deferred until retirement.

Simpler Explained: A defined contribution plan is a common workplace retirement plan in which an employee contributes money and the employer typically makes a matching contribution

Essentially, they are retirement plans that companies may offer as a benefit in which you, your employer or both make contributions on a regular basis.

The most common examples of defined-contribution plans are the 401(k) and the 403(b).

Constributor

A supposed vendor of goods (i.e. drugs/alcohol) who cannot resist partaking in his/her own product. A salesperson whose bottom line is consistently undermined by personal consumption.

A constributor is one who intends to distribute a product but consumes it before it reaches the end user.
