"do you have any contra?"
by sosentimental December 27, 2009
Literally translated from Latin, it means "against the world". It has been used to describe maverick, 'lone-ranger' individuals who lack interest in culture and relative comparisons made by people that the individual deems 'ignorant' (which doesn't make them wrong, necessarily).

Used to express shock or surprise.
'ETYMOLOGY'-------derived from 'scene' which means problem in mallu street slang and Contra-------video game from the late 1980's about a warrior chasing down villains to rescue the love of his life. The warrior has to overcome difficult terrain and use his wit to get through the levels. But when the warrior is dead,You have to start the game all over again.
So,I guess its obvious that this is a huge problem.
Hence,
"Scene Contra" ----
literal meaning -Big Problem
