A noun describing a tragic chronic condition, typically affecting older individuals, characterised by the compulsive overuse of ellipses... often to imply signifigance... mystery... or mild disapproval... without ever quite finishing the thought...

Common symptoms include texts that feel ominous for no reason, emails that sound vaguely threatening, and sentences that trail off into the abyss...

Seem like they have a case of charlitis... so interesting...
