Bushmen

Two definitions of the term "Bushman."
1. a member of an ethnic group of short-statured peoples of southern
Africa who traditionally live by hunting and foraging.
2. a member of a political group of short-minded people of north America
who live by hunting their opponents and foraging for civil liberties.

Bushmen can be found not only in southern Africa, but in north America,
too. What do these two tribes have in common? Nothing except that both
are pygmies.

Bushknod

It’s a verb meaning to acknowledge someone talking to you with all the normal social cues such as bobbing your head in agreement and moaning “mhm” as if to understand what is being said but instead you are really so out of it from alcohol, or some other drug. (fyi, alcohol and nicotine are drugs)

I asked Andy if I could borrow his car last night at the party but he must have been bushknoding me because today he acted like we never had that convo!
