Yorkshire slang meaning 'shit' or 'shite'
Something that is rubbish, serves no decent purpose, doesn't work correctly, a poor situation or is just plain old crap.
Also the excretion of humans, dogs, goats, cattle, rabbits etc etc...

Bill - "Jesus Christ Dave whats that on your sleeve?"
Dave - "Oh.. I slipped on some bobbar cutting through the park.. Fucking dog walkers want shooting."

An old video game term for an rpg, where you control an entire party of adventurers from the first person perspective. Called Blobbers because the entire party always occupies the same spot on the map and cant separate, so they are a single blob of adventurers. Has become exceedingly rare since the 90s and is mostly seen in indie games now.

Wizardry, Might and Magic and Etrian Odyssey are blobber games.

Hooky-Bobbing

Hooking or grasping on to the rear bumper of a car or truck when the road is covered in snow and ice. The motorist often doesn't know the youth is squatted down behind the car hanging on to the rear bumper. The 'Hooky-Bobber' gets a free and dangerous ride. Hooky-Bobbing is mostly for a joy-ride, but can be a way to get home from school. The dangers include inhaling car exhaust, motorists traveling at high rates of speed. Rock,gravel,sand and sewer covers in the road that have melted the snow and/or ice resulting in the Hooky-Bobber to be tossed off the rear bumper. Also often times, mittens or gloves get stuck/frozen to the rear bumper.

"Dude! Look at the snow coming down! I can't wait for school to get out to go Hooky-Bobbing!"

In the winter you can hitch a ride by grabbing the bumper of a car and sliding on the icy road while being towed. This is called hooky bobbin.

The Mud Bobber arises when a male experiences explosive diarrhea into a clogged toilet. The affected individual vigorously defacates into the disabled vessel, further saturating the already dense effluent. In a desparate attempt to banish the maelstrom, our anti-hero foolishly chooses to flushes, whereupon panic ensues as the water level rises to approximately 0.1nm below the rim of the bowl. The Mud Bobber is now complete: The hapless defacator's scrotum repeatedly dips into the fecal morass despite his attempts to maneuver elsewhere.
