John has some huge balls. He just goes up to girls he doesn't know, tells them they are cute, flirts a bit more, and then gets their number.

Match-Pump Approach

Hypocrisy or a hypocritical way of doing things. You cause some bad problems to occur, while making sure that nobody knows that you are the cause of them, and then come up solutions to them so that you will be seen as as a saviour by all around you, as if you set fire on something with a match yourself and pumped water onto it as a hero citizen, pretending that you happen to be there.

"I suspect it was John who made the car tyre flat, just before our driving trip last week. He did that probably so that he could come to the rescue in his car and impress all the girls like a hero. What a match-pump approach that was!"

Shotgun Approach

A last ditch effort used to pick up women that essentially entails making a series of rapid, low effort, approaches, on multiple women, in a very short period of time.  It is beneficial when the PUA has arrived at the bar or club late in the evening and has little time remaining before last call.  It is risky maneuvre because, due to the lack of effort put into each individual approach, it is likely that the PUA will face several harsh rejections prior to achieving success. Multiple rejections in such a short timeframe could leave the PUA's confidence shattered beyond repair.

Dude #1: "Dude, why the fuck have I seen Andy talking to ten different women in the past five minutes?"
Dude #2: "It's almost last call, and he showed up late, so he's resorted to implementing the Shotgun Approach."
Dude #1: "That's a risky maneuvre bro, I hope he knows what he's doing."

Unicorn Approach

The Unicorn Approach is a business phrase for handling those times when your boss is asking for the impossible and/or making completely unrealistic demands. Often, when they are demanding this, they resent any "negative" feedback. You can smile and say "Sure boss, we'll apply the Unicorn Approach to that and get right on it."

Strictly defined, the Unicorn Approach is pretending that all will be well in fantasy land, where it's rainbows and sunshine all the time. And Unicorns frolic. It allows the poor shmuck being asked to deal with the ridiculous, ludicrous demands of egotistical bosses with a bit of humor. Sure, it doesn't fix the problem but honestly - you can't fix it anyway so at least you can smile a bit!

Boss: You need to triple your sales this month. It doesn't matter that there are multiple blizzards, there are no sales people and your facility is under renovation. NO EXCUSES! Manager: Sure boss, we'll apply the Unicorn Approach and get right on it.

Guantanamo bay approach

The Guantanamo bay approach is to believe that anything, animal, object, human being or otherwise are inneficient, cannot be trusted or are in someway harmful to the individual until he/she is given prove that this object/person/animal is efficient or benneficial.

Since the internet is almost diametrically opposed to the notion of quality control, in recent years it's been a lot easier to just assume everything is shit until it can prove itself otherwise. I like to call it the Guantanamo bay approach.

warm approach

Approaching a person through a social circle, as opposed to "cold approach". Usually used for dating terminology.

Danny depends too much on his social circle for meeting women, he only does warm approaches.

Big Penis Approach

A "big penis approach" is something that is strategic and soundly thought-out using objective factual information about any subject that the strategy or the plan might involve, and is opposed with a "small penis approach" which is stupid and nonsensical and often does more harm than good and uses misleading information and kneejerk reactions, and is based on the rationale that Males with a bigger penis are more likely to have higher intelligence or have an impact on society, namely in the reproduction department, and is an important step to understanding basic strategy, along with a good analogy for understanding this being that a "big penis approach" is like a long thick sausage with a big girth, which blows out the "small penis approach," a little corn dog sausage, straight out of the water.

Person #1: "I'm looking for numbers for the Lottery since I'm really wanting to win, but I'm not sure whether to pick QuickPick or just choose random numbers on the paper."

Person #2: "It's obviously not going to win you anything if you try that approach, and it's important to go with trying to look at the numbers statistically with the past drawings, including making a detailed graph about when each number has been last drawn and how many times they have been drawn, and interpreting the data from there."

Person #1: "Oh my God, how are you this smart?"

Person #2: "I'm just using the big penis approach."
