Antigone, the name of a Greek "godess". People with that name are often REBELS. They are also stunning pretty, great in bed but also smart as a cat. Stubborn but sweet and however loyal friends, not so loyal partners. They also have great bodies and big booties. Lastly, since they're very smart they tend to be very good at manipulating others.

Did you hear about Antigone? She became a politician.

Antagonistic Marketing

Antagonistic Marketing is a strategy used by media companies like Disney. Basically you come in throwing stones hoping to stir up controversy. You deliberately want some people to be offended. You sacrifice a smaller market in hopes of capturing a larger one. You also hope that by making people angry you will bait them into constantly talking about your movie/TV show/video game, giving you free publicity and helping grow exposure for your product. This is all rooted in the false idea that any press is good press.

Alex: Did you see the trailer for that new Netflix show?
Bob: Yeah, it's all people talk about.

Alex: It's just trying to force controversy, like all Antagonistic Marketing schemes.

A person that turns someone against them. Causing someone to become hostile.

Person: "Mm, don't you love tuna? I do!" *Puts tuna in person's face*
Person 2: "Stop it! You know I hate tuna!"

*Person continues to put it in person's face*

Person 1: "Man I love tuna! Have a taste!"
Person 2:" NO. STOP IT!!"
*PERSON 2 smacks tuna out of hand*

Mom:"Stop antagonizing your brother, Person 1!"
Person 1 is an antagonizer.

being antagonistic is opposing progress or being negative and possibly being hostile.
