this is a general term designed to replace the expletive "f'd up" i decided to invent my own politically correct terms to poke fun @ p/c in general.

someone tempted to say thats "f***ed up" in public might say "thats sexually afflicted" so they dont offend anyone.

The Amity Affliction

The Amity Affliction is an Australian post-hardcore band formed in 2002. The band's current line-up is Joel Birch (lead vocals), Ahren Stringer (bass, clean vocals), Ryan Burt (drums), Troy Brady (guitar) and Imran Siddiqi (guitar). They have released two studio albums, Severed Ties released in 2008 and Youngbloods in 2010, which debuted at number 6 on the ARIA Charts, two EPs and a handful of demos. The Amity Affliction formed in Gympie, a South-East Queensland town. The band was named for a close friend of the band, who died in a car accident at the age of 17. 'Amity' referred to the friendship and 'Affliction' was to indicate the struggle which dealing with the death caused the band members. The death of the friend was the catalyst for the formation of the band, and prior to being named The Amity Affliction they were named Left Lane Ends. All together this band is just purely amazing, this may sound crazy to some.. But they helped save and changed my life. I'm in love with them. Expecially Ahren Stinger. I love them and Im proud to say that their Austalian owned. Rock on Amity!

Affluenza

A bullshit Defense used by rich kids to justify murdering four, innocent people.

affluenza

A legal defense by rich kids and or adults who are guilty of a crime for which they committed and freely admit. The defence is that the offspring of wealthy, privileged parents who never set limits on their childrens behavior, are exempt from regular laws because natural law allows for special privilege and greater understanding for the rich and powerful in general. This argument comes from a branch of philosophy called circular logic. If the defense works it also means that instead of applying legal limits on rich people's behavior it legally exempts them and only them. This strengthens the defense in further legal problems should they occur again.

The affluenza defense works a lot better than a similar defense works for the offspring or poor, impoverished and suppressed parents, who don't have the resources to feed, cloth or house their kids properly, and because of time and resource constraints are unable keep tract or to set limits on their childrens behavior.

Affluence trap

Affluence trap is where successful couples and families have all the material trappings of wealth but are now committed to large regular payments and have to work extremely hard and are therefore "trapped" in their jobs.

John and Irene had worked hard to become successful but now found themselves with lots of commitments and in the "affluence trap"
