drunkorexia

A practice which has recently come to light with the exposure of pro-anorexia websites in the media... DRUNKOREXIA refers to the act of restricting food intake/calories by day so one can party and get drunk at night without fear of gaining weight from the extra calories of the alcohol. Generally practiced by body-conscious or anorexic young women, who are often alcoholics.

The danger of this practice is that there is no food present in the stomach to slow the absorption of alcohol into the system, which can result in the person becoming intoxicated too quickly, passing out, vomiting, or getting alcohol poisoning. Those side effects, coupled with the long-term effects of anorexia on the body, can lead to death.

Drunk munchies

The craving to consume mass quantities of absorbents after a session of moderate to heavy drinking. The effects are twofold: slowing down the rate of alcohol being introduced into the bloodstream, and depleting the amount of easily/already prepared food in one's kitchen. Foods high in fat, carbs, and/or salt are high on the craving list, as well as foods that feel pleasant in the mouth (e.g. french fries).

The polite boozer will purchase sufficient absorbents beforehand before drinking at someone else's house.

"Is there any more of that Chinese food? All this beer has given me the drunk munchies."

Zombie Drunk

Combination of drunkenness and fatigue which leaves the drinker in a zombie like state.

1. Some of the sweetest instruments in marching band. Starts at #1 (usually carried by the smallest member) and increases in size. High schools normally have around four or five. Colleges/universities usually have many more.
2. That really big drum in concert band/pit.

1. Person 1- So you play bass drum?
Person 2- Yeah.
Person 1- Sweet.

2. Person 1- Oooh! BIIIIG drum! How purdy!
Person 2- That's the Bass Drum.
