Calm of Chaos is a band from Kent, Ohio. Formally known as A Dying Light, the band was founded by lead vocalist/lyricist, James Christian. The band is completed with Kayla Turk on lead guitar and backup vocals, Doug Callahan on Bass, and Devin Mays on Rhythm Guitar. COC is still searching for a drummer. For their early demos, Kayla Turk recorded drum tracks.
The style of the band is debatable, but most people agree that it sucks. Christian's vocals are a cheap imitation of Avenged Sevenfold's lead singer M. Shadow's style. Mixing screamed vocals and cleaned vocals is an old, worn out vocal style, that has been used over and over again. It's called Metalcore. But to perform Metalcore correctly, or fluently, you must have a vocalist who can actually sing. Christian's screams are weak and repetitive, and his clean vocals are wretched. They are whiny, and couldn't hold a note to save his life. Turk's lead guitar work is impressive, along with her fill-in drums on the early demos. Mays' guitar work is average at best. Callahan has yet to be heard as the newly joined bass player. He joined in April of 2009, replacing the former bass player who was expelled from COC in April of 2009. Callahan comes from the death metal band Torment of Sin. TOS is nothing but a bunch of potheads who are baked all the time and aren't good enough to meet Callahan's bass standards.
Calm of Chaos is a joke of a band and should not be taken seriously or respected. This band will never go anywhere with James Christian as their vocalist. COC is not metal whatsoever. They are what is wrong with metal. Bands trying to be carbon copies of other bands. Hint, hint: A7X.
Long live true metal

Get the Calm of Chaos mug.He is a character from Tekken series. After he betrayed Heihachi and sided with Kazuya at The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2, Lee was expelled from the Mishima Zaibatsu. For quite sometime, thoughts of revenge consumed Lee. Eventually, he realized that it was pointless to kill an old man who probably had only a few years left in his life at best. With that realization, Lee distanced himself from fighting and moved to a mansion in the Bahamas to lead a solitary life. One day, he discovered a huge sell-off of G Corporation’s stock online. Lee’s intuition told him that something happened within the company. His intuition was correct. He hacked into their classified computer network and accessed their internal corporate communications. Lee learned that the Mishima Zaibatsu attacked G Corporation and caused significant damage to their research facilities. He also came across information that a new life form under development by the Mishima Zaibatsu would be completed by next year. In order to complete the life form, however, it appeared that they were missing a critical component... Oddly enough, an announcement was made for The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4 around the same time. Lee’s fading passion for fighting was rekindled - along with his resentment towards the Mishima clan. In order to prevent the Mishima Zaibatsu from discovering his true identity, Lee signed up for the Tournament online under a false name. As an additional measure to mask his identity, he dyed his gleaming silver hair purple.

1. The polar opposite of Order.
2. A state of reality in which one's reality is not under control. ie. Anarchy.
3. The perfect fusion of good and evil, Light and Darkness. It is these things, yet it is not, and is greater than both.
Note: For all the KH players out there, this is not to be confused with Twilight.
4. A character from Sonic Adventure. Chaos is the God of Destruction; an anthromorphic...water lizard-thingy that is able to morph into any shape and is modular in nature. Chaos lives on The Floating Island. Chaos once destroyed the world when the ancient tribes of echidnas turned to war and corruption. Forunately, Chaos was sealed into the Master Emerald, along with an echidna named Tikal. Millenia later, Chaos was released by Dr. Robotnik. One kickass game later, a Perfect Chaos was defeated by Super Sonic, and the world was saved. Not from destruction, as it had already been partially destroyed, but from total destruction.
5. A mysterious character in the Xenosaga series who seems to wield holy magic as a weapon. Nobody's sure just what this guy is, because even though he looks human, it's obvious from the first time you see him that he is not human. I think he's an angel. Some think he's a Gnosis. Perhaps we will never know. Then again, maybe we'll find out in Xenosaga III...or IV...but definately not V or VI, because V is Xenogears, which takes place millions of years after Shion's time, and obviously VI is after Xenogears.

Get the Chaos mug.Chaos is the main evil in the games Warhammer and Warhammer 40.000. Chaos consists of four gods. These are knows as The Chaos Gods, The Dark Gods or The Ruinous Powers. Each god tries to become the dominant Chaos Power, but, as is the nature of Chaos, none can ever succeed. The four gods are: Khorne, the Blood God, Nurgle, the Lord of Decay, Slaanesh, the Prince of Excess and Tzeentch, the Lord of Change. Many follow one particular god and wage war against the followers of the other gods, but many more worship Chaos in its undiluted glory, known as Chaos Undivided.
Each faction has it's own legions of mortal followers and Daemons who sacrifice uncounted millions of human victims to appease their dark masters. For, to gain in power, the Chaos Gods need souls. The Dark Gods reward their followers with 'gifts' who often come in the shape of a mutation, like a tentacle, inhuman strength or even daemonic wings! Eventually if the warrior (the Chaos gods care only about war, death and conflict) has proven himself enough, and has become a Champion of Chaos in the process, he will be granted immortality as his final reward. He (or she of something else entirely in the case of Slaanesh) has become a Deamon Prince and answers to his god alone.
The Chaos gods each reflect a particular facet of human nature and Chaos Undivided reflects simple and plain evil. Khorne reflects bloodlust and barbarity, Ngle the desire to tear down and to let everything rot and fester, Slaanesh stands for the desire for perfection and for ‘the pleasures of the flesh’ (Slaanesh has a disturbing preference for whips as weapons and tentacles as gifts) whilst Tzeentch is representative for the urge to evolve and progress, he also stands for the quest for (forbidden) knowledge and magic.
The symbol of Chaos Undivided is the eight pointed star as it resembles the four points on the compass that the Dark Gods occupy (being each others opposites and hating each other) and the different ways one can worship and follow Chaos.
