Buttism

A buttism is a statement or expression that just barely misses the mark/point of the conversation and may cause awkward looks or responses from an audience afterwards.

"Brad pitt is such a badass"

"i know right? he makes movies, sleeps with Angelina Jolie-"

"and gets her PREGNANT" (awkward looks)

-(the above pregnancy statement is a buttism)

Nuts to Butts

Although the above definition is correct, there is another situation it applies:
Nuts to Butts refers to 2 males riding together on a motorcycle or scooter - often times because the passenger is too lazy to walk to class so he hitches a ride on his buddy's scooter. Guys 2-up on a crotch rocket is the WORST way!

Looks at those 2 dorks riding nuts to butts to class.

Guy Passenger: "dude I need to save gas money, can you take me on your bike to the store?"
Rider: "nuts to butts? hell no"

Popular, one-on-one childrens game in which one player lies on his back and pulls his knees to his chest, while his opponent gets on his knees and smells his butt. The object is to quit as soon as your butt gets smelled, and/or before you have to smell a butt.
