Derived from the surname Slater (from Steven Slater, the Jet Blue attendant) and the word jaded.

Slatded pet store employee Reggie having been asked "Where are all the Nemos and Dorys?" by full-grown adults for the 4000th time exclaimed: "YOU CAN'T KEEP THEM IN A FISH BOWL AND THEY LIVE IN SALTWATER G-DDAMMIT!!!". Reggie abruptly began giggling and cartwheeling toward the front door.
