Freeze

In technological terms, the event of a device, program, etc failing to respond to your actions, usually due to an error.

Freeze Example: As I was typing the final words of my college essay, Microsoft Word froze forcing me to close it and I lost all of my progress.

freeberg

The Freeberg. Originated in the mid 90's by a man named Pete Freeberg. This is the process of rolling up paper towels into big balls, wetting them and throwing them at people or places. They can be as small as golf balls up to the size of a big melon.

To make these you simply use paper towels or toilet paper from any source that you don't own like public restrooms etc. Simply wet the ball of paper under a sink with luke warm water and compress them gently with hands to remove excess water. This will make them very explosive, easier to throw and less conspicuous before the attack. The final step is to find a person or surface to chuck this thing at. Best results are achieved on flat surfaces.

**NOTE: The longer the water sits on the paper ball the more explosive the results will be when it hits its target.

I was in class the other day and when the teacher turned her back my buddy freeberged the chalkboard!!

hiring freeze

A condition in which a place of business puts a temporary halt on the hiring of new employees. This is often the result of the CEO purchasing a new yacht or Fiji beach home and usually means that employees of said company should start looking for new jobs.

"Thank you for interviewing with us, but management has just initiated a hiring freeze. We will be keeping your resume on file. I am going to go kill myself now."

code freeze takes place when developers are about to release new e.g. beta version of software to the public so it can be further tested.
Usually all the bugs that wasn't fixed in current release will be fixed in the next one.

Mozilla announced a code freeze for a beta version of Firefox 3.0.

Ghetto Freezer

noun: the place that served cold or perishable items are stored to keep them cold, only refers to a place that is not electrically, gas, or motor powered; does not necessarily have to refer to the ghetto, one can have a ghetto freezer for convenience.

Gangster 1 : Hey dawg where da milk at?
Gangster 2 : Yo, it's in the ghetto freezer cause I couldn't pay the electric bill.
Gangster 1 : Dumbass!

Zack: Welcome to the party, all the booze is out back in the ghetto freezer, there was not enough space in the fridge so we had to put them in the snow.

fleece

To make a trade with (or enter into an agreement with) someone under the guise of fairness, while fully knowing you are trying to rip them off.

Very common in sports, where one team "fleeces" another in a trade. Sometimes, the results of the fleece aren't known for a while, but inevitably someone usually gets fleeced in a trade.

1) The Tampa Bay Devil Rays FLEECED the New York Mets by trading them Victor Zambrano for Scott Kazmir.

2) Carl Pavano FLEECED the Yankees into a 4 year, $40M deal.
