making it seem like you're posing for one reason when really your posing for another reason. A fake pose.

i.e. 1. a girl bending over to pet her dog but really she's trying to show cleavage. 2. a guy pointing to the sky but really trying to show off muscle.

She's definitely fosing in that picture.

faking smart

A person who puts on glasses or uses pretentious words to try and fool people into thinking that they are smart.

I had a date with this female college professor and I was afraid of looking stupid, so I put on some glasses, a cordory jacket with those elbow patches and memorized some four syllable words out of the dictionary. I know, I was faking smart, but I think I can pull it off. smart, fake it til you make it, intelligent, college, university, nerd, geek, professor

faking out: drunk kissing. So you're at a party and you end up kissing your best friend or just someone who's really icky. It doesn't matter, cos you weren't making out, you were faking out (can also be used for popular people and geeks)

'Woah, you were totally making out with Laurence, we have photographic evidence'
'What? that wasn't making out, that was faking out!'
