To go into a hissy fit or stop working correctly, usely performed by computers or iPads, it began in Europe with a woman named Grace Cinnel, who's ex, Brandon Smith, was extremely bad with iPads and repeatedly made them crash, so she adopted the phrase, Don't chuck a Brandon.
Person 1 - "I just started downloading My Little Pony!"
iPad - "I'm afraid I can't let you do that..."
Person 2 - "Oh God! It's gonna chuck a Brandon!"

A person who means well but is constantly making mistakes and falling short of expectations. A chuck-a-luck is often clumsy and unaware of their foibles. A hapless doofus.
See Chucklehead.
